Marrakesh Art Retreat
March 17 - 25, 2027
For Art Lovers: The TELA Marrakech Edit takes you through art in all its sensory forms. Begin with art you can taste, touch, and see.
THE RETREAT
Here’s a version at about the same length that keeps all the main highlights:
Join TELA in Marrakech this March for 9 days of art, culture, and connection. The Marrakech Edit takes you through art in all its sensory forms, from art you can taste, touch, and see to conversations among artists, thinkers, and cultural voices from across the global Black diaspora.
Savor a curated tea tasting in a historic riad, shape your own piece in a private ceramics workshop, and explore the medina’s Berber rugs, botanical oils, and spices. Hike through Berber villages in the Atlas Mountains, tour the “museum in the medina,” and visit galleries and receptions at the 1-54 art fair. We’ll close at the Diaspora Salon at Jnane Tamsna, a global gathering with inspiring speakers.
Come for the art, stay for the community.
We can’t wait to share Marrakech with you!
